
A Green Bay man has admitted to police that he was the one who shot and killed a man in Oconto County earlier this year.
The body of the 35-year-old victim was located in the parking area of Green Bay Shores State Wildlife Area on Lade Beach Road in Little Suamico on the morning of February 22nd. He has only been identified by his initials, which are MGP.
32-year-old Manuel Antonio Herrera-Hernandez admitted to being at fault after he and another woman were arrested on drug charges. He told police he picked up the victim at a home in Green Bay, drove him to a remote location in Little Suamico, and killed him.
The unnamed woman admitted to being in the vehicle when the incident occurred.
Herrera-Hernandez has been charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, and as of this morning (June 8th), no initial court date has been set.
