A Sheboygan Falls man had to be treated at a local hospital following a shooting in Sheboygan over the weekend.
According to police reports, Officers were called to the Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center at around 9:00 PM Saturday evening (June 5th) when the 18-year-old victim was admitted with a gunshot wound to his pelvic region.
Police learned that the victim was with a 21-year-old man at a home in the 900 block of New York Avenue in Sheboygan.
The 21-year-old reportedly shot the victim accidentally, as he was handling the newly purchased handgun when it fired.
The victim’s injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening, while the 21-year-old was charged with 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.
