As the Wisconsin CASA Association approaches the second anniversary of its My Stuff, My Bag initiative, the child advocacy organization is holding a monthly collection drive for items most in need.
The donations are used to fill suitcases given to children removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Beginning in June, and running through the end of 2021, Wisconsin CASA is asking the public to take part in the collection drive, which spotlights items most in need on a monthly basis that correlate with the season and shopping sales. In June, their focus is on conditioner and body wash, and in July, they will be collecting summer pajamas and pillowcases.
Collection Drive items can be dropped off in the Startup Hub lobby on the NWTC campus, 2701 Larsen Road, Green Bay, Wis. To learn more about the Wisconsin CASA Association and My Stuff, My Bag visit wisconsin-casa.org.
