
A 28-year-old man has been found guilty due to a no-contest plea in an overdose death from last year.
David S. Bresser entered the plea on charges of First-Degree Reckless Homicide and for the Manufacturing or Delivery of Fentanyl.
A criminal complaint states that Robert Thorp died in Ripon last April from an overdose of methamphetamine, and his body was found in the Fond du Lac River.
Bresser admitted to selling drugs to Thorp but claimed is was only a small amount.
Bresser could spend up to 35 years in prison, and 20 years on extended supervision when he is sentenced on August 17th.
