A Manitowoc teen is facing charges after he allegedly attempted to trade THC dabs for beer at a local bar.
Officers were called to the 10th Street Pub, located at 1202 South 10th Street on a weapons call. The caller claimed the suspect had a gun, and when officers arrived they saw a young man on a longboard fleeing the scene. A witness began pointing at the teen, and he was stopped.
A bartender told the officers that the 18-year-old had entered the bar and asked for a beer. Since the suspect was underage, the bartender denied him service.
He then allegedly told the bartender he would trade dabs, or a concentrated form of THC, for the beer. The bartender told the teen and his friend to leave, and there was an argument outside the bar.
No gun was found, but the teen was found in possession of a set of brass knuckles.
He was arrested on charges of Felony Possession of THC, his 2nd offense, Disorderly Conduct, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
