A Manitowoc man was arrested yesterday (May 31st) after he allegedly pointed a gun at a woman.
Officers were called to a home in the 2000 block of Clark Street just after 5:30 AM and spoke to the suspect in the case. He was not found to be in possession of any weapons, and the officer made contact with his girlfriend, the alleged victim.
The woman claimed that the two had been in an argument about a girl on Facebook. She claimed the 29-year-old suspect grabbed a gun, loaded a round in the chamber, and pointed it at her, before turning it on himself.
The gun was never fired, and the man claimed he never pointed it at either one of them.
He was taken into custody on a charge of Recklessly Endangering Safety with a Domestic Violence Enhancer.
