The Knights of Columbus Council 710 out of Manitowoc County have shown their appreciation for the teachers who worked very hard throughout the pandemic by making a very generous donation to the Roncalli Catholic School system.
Roncalli Elementary, Middle, and High Schools were each gifted Chamber Buck certificates, which were then distributed to the employees each receiving a $50 certificate.
Tony Holzinger, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 710 said of the donation, “Our school system, the Roncalli schools, were very pro-child or pro teaching and wanted the teachers teaching. I think John (Steltzer) led the way on that and all the teachers were in there for the whole year.”
John Stelzer, Roncalli Catholic Schools president called the donation “a little shot in the arm at the end of the year is greatly appreciated. On behalf of all our faculty and staff, more than 130 employees, we’re very grateful.”
