A 19-year-old Sheboygan man facing child sex charges was due to be in court on Tuesday for a Plea Hearing, but the defense team told the court they were not ready to try the case.
So Trevor Schillingowski will be back in court for a status conference on August 3rd.
Schillingowski was arrested in March on child pornography charges after officers viewed a video he had made with a 15-year-old girl. He initially denied that he was involved with the teen, but officers were able to positively identify him in the video.
Schillingowski was officially charged with Possession of Child Pornography, 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Exposing Genitals, Pubic Area, or Intimate Parts to a Child and Possession of THC.
The charges carry with them a maximum of about 40 years in prison.
