New Detour Set Up For Road Closure in Downtown Manitowoc

A new detour is in place starting today for a downtown Manitowoc road construction project.

Those who will be traveling on Maritime Drive with the intention of going south on North 10^th Street will actually have to go north on North 9^th Street first. They will then turn onto York Street, before finally making their way onto North 10^th Street.

Greg Minikel, the Engineering Division Manager for the City of Manitowoc, estimates that the project will be completed on or by June 4^th.
