Fond du Lac County authorities have taken a man into custody after a three-hour-long police pursuit.
The incident began at around 7:30 AM on Sunday (May 23rd) after a woman called police claiming a man was following her on Highway 23 near Highway 151.
Sheriff’s Deputies located the suspect and began to follow him as he turned south on Mary Hill Drive. The man exited his vehicle and took off on foot, as authorities learned he had a warrant out for his arrest on domestic-related charges.
A K9 unit and Drone Team were called to assist in the search for the man, whose name and age have not yet been released, and he was located at around 10:00 AM. He was finally taken into custody at around 10:30 AM, three hours after the initial call came in.
He is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of Resisting and Obstructing, as well as several counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and charges related to his initial warrant.
