We heard multiple citizen reports of a heavy police presence in downtown Mishicot last night (May 23rd), but at this time we have not received any information as to what occurred.
We have reached out to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department, who did not have any information for us.
We did receive word from the WisDOT Traffic Management Center that there was a traffic crash on State Highway 147 near the intersection of Jackson Street.
The crash occurred at around 8:00 PM, and all lanes of traffic were blocked in both directions. The site was cleared in around an hour.
