Motorists in Sheboygan are being advised of another major road construction project which is scheduled to start on Monday.
A roughly 1.25 mile stretch of Geele Avenue will be shut down as crews repair and replace sanitary and storm sewers, improve the sidewalk, and lay down new asphalt. The project will affect traffic between North 3rd Street and Calumet Drive, however residents and businesses in the area will be accessible by using cross streets. The project is expected to be completed sometime in September, but a specific date has not been stated.
