Bail is set at $250 thousand cash for a 19-year-old Manitowoc man accused in the shooting death of a 17-year-old Manitowoc youth Monday night in Two Rivers. Joshua I. Walcott has been charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide by use of a firearm.
Four other suspects also appeared for bail hearings Wednesday afternoon in connection to the shooting. 21-year-old Malik R. Thomson of Manitowoc is charged with carrying a Concealed Weapon and possession with intent to deliver while armed. Bail was set at $200 cash.
$500 cash bail was set for 48-year-old Todd P. Mueller who’s charged with Felony Bail Jumping and child neglect. 19-year-old Rodney S.L. Anderson Jr. of Manitowoc had bail set at $1000 cash on charges of Aiding and abetting a felon and Bail Jumping.
Kaden A. Jones age 19 of Manitowoc is charged with Possession of Marijuana and Bail Jumping with bail set at $250 cash while no address or age was given for William Lowe who remains in the County Jail on a Probation hold.
The Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center received a call just before midnight Monday of a disturbance in the 1800 block of 28th Street in Two Rivers.
Officers learned that a gun was involved and someone —later identified as a 17-year-old Manitowoc youth— had been shot. Life-saving measures were unsuccessful- and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is not being released at this time due to his age.
Joshua Walcott remains in the County Jail with his initial appearance scheduled for May 24th at 1:30 p.m.
