Health care providers in Wisconsin can start administering the Pfizer vaccine today (Thursday) to kids ages 12 to 15.
The Department of Health Services gave the green light for the two-dose COVID vaccine for this age group. Parents and guardians can schedule the shots for their children. Governor Tony Evers says the pandemic has been especially hard on kids and for the first time we can offer our children protection against the virus.
UW-Madison Health Services will offer the vaccinations to anyone 12 and older starting on Monday.
