The Manitowoc Lutheran girls captured 1st place in a five-team track and field meet held at Oostburg.
Lancers Coach Abbey Bubolz said two of her athletes had noteworthy achievements.
MonRaye Ermis re-set her school record in the shot put with a throw of 35-feet 5.5 inches to better her mark of 35” 3’ in 2019.
And, Brooklyn Luebke broke a 36-year-old school record in the 3200 meters in her first time running the event. Luebke’s time of 11:49 shattered the old standard of 11:55 set in 1985.
Lutheran High won the meet with 101 points.
