As the COVID 19 pandemic eases up a bit both the Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Bucks announced yesterday afternoon (May 11th) they will increase fan capacity from 25 to 50 percent.
The increase takes effect for the Brewers Saturday when they host the Atlanta Braves at American Family Field while the Bucks increase is effective May 22-the start of the NBA Playoffs.
Milwaukee Health Commissioner Kirsten Johnson released a statement saying, “They have been vigilant about good safety practices.”
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett adds “We know that there is hunger and thirst for more people to get permission to attend these games. We are pleased that both teams will be allowed to have more fans in the stands.”
