The man police believe to be responsible for a shooting outside a Green Bay gas station has now been officially charged.
Stephon K. Young is facing a charge of First-Degree Reckless Injury for the May 4th incident outside the BP gas station in the 600 block of South Military Avenue.
Police say that Young fired a handgun at a car that was leaving that location, striking a 16-year-old individual in the car. The victim remains in critical care at a local hospital.
Young fled to Chicago after the incident and was arrested while going to court for a different case.
Local and Chicagoan authorities are working together to extradite Young to Brown County.
