A Police Officer in Green Bay was involved in a head-on collision over the weekend in the downtown area.
The officer with the Green Bay Police Department, whose name has not been released, was responding to an incident in the downtown area Saturday evening when he approached the intersection of Washington and Walnut Streets.
The officer slowed to check the intersection, before going through, but an oncoming car slammed into his squad car.
The officer was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, while the other driver is reportedly fine.
Crews remained on the scene to clean up the incident for about an hour.
