One of the more popular attractions in Manitowoc is the local Farmers Market.
Mayor Justin Nickels yesterday was on WOMT and WCUB radio yesterday (May 6th) where he promoted the Market.
“Every Saturday in downtown Manitowoc at the Briess lot across from the library,” he explained. “Stop down and visit all the wonderful vendors and all the great things that are gonna be happening every Saturday downtown with the farmers market.”
He also noted that the market is completely filled with vendors.
“There are 59 participating vendors this year, 39 of whom are returning and 20 new,” he explained. “40 vendors offer produce, plantings or food trucks and 19 are crafts and artisans.”
The market accepts EBT, and face masks will be recommended, but not required.
