***Original Story***
A Manitowoc man is facing charges after he reportedly hit another man multiple times with a baseball bat.
Officers with the Manitowoc Police Department were sent to an apartment in the 1800 block of Clark Street just after 4:30 AM on April 28th to investigate.
The suspect, a 19-year-old man, told officers that he and his live-in girlfriend had met the other man near Westfield Bar and they began to hold a conversation.
The suspect went to work, and when he came home, found the man in his apartment talking with his girlfriend. The man would not leave, so the suspect began to push him out the door with an aluminum baseball bat.
The man reportedly grabbed the woman by the throat, which prompted the suspect to strike him multiple times with the bat, including at least once on the head.
The investigation continued, and charges of Aggravated Battery with Intent to Cause Great Bodily Harm While Armed with a Dangerous Weapon, and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping were officially filled.
