
A jury in Winnebago County has found a man accused of killing his girlfriend’s father guilty on three counts.
40-year-old Joshua Aide was convicted on one count of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and two counts of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide.
He reportedly shot and killed 59-year-old James Gruettner on August 4th in a home in the 1700 block of Minnesota Street, and injured Gruettner’s 33-year-old daughter Rebecca Borkowski and 59-year-old John Miller.
His sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 21st at 9:00 AM.
