A disabled Wisconsin lawmaker has told Republican Assembly leaders he wants to participate in floor sessions remotely.
State Representative Jimmy Anderson has threatened to take legal action if he is turned down.
Anderson is quadriplegic.
Anderson sent a letter to Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Democratic Assembly Minority Leader Gordon Hintz saying his disability prevents him from being in the chamber for every vote.
During the coronavirus pandemic last year, Republicans changed the rules to let Anderson phone in to committee meetings.
