A fire in rural Sheboygan County on Sunday morning (May 2nd) required over half a dozen fire departments from throughout the county to help subdue the blaze.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department received a call at around 8:00 AM Sunday morning reporting the fire at Serenity Farms Landscaping, located on Old Plank Road in the Town of Wilson.
Crews battled the fire, which had taken over a mulch pile for several hours, but the crews were eventually able to bring it under control.
No injuries were reported, but the landscapers did lose some equipment.
It is not clear at this time what caused the fire, nor the cost of the damage.
