Manitowoc Operations Manager Billy Hutterer advises motorists that Michigan Avenue will close to thru traffic this Tuesday thru Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The closure will occur from Indian Bluff Drive to North 23rd Street for street crews to complete street maintenance.
Hutterer says eastbound traffic will be detoured at Highway R north to Waldo Boulevard then east on Waldo to North 23rd Street then South on North 23rd back to Michigan Avenue.
Westbound traffic will be detoured at North 23rd north to Waldo then west on Waldo to Highway R then south on R and back to Michigan Avenue.
Work is contingent on weather conditions.
