Roncalli plated 2-runs in the top of the 9th for a 12-10 EWC Girls Softball victory over Valders at Citizen Park.
The top 2 hitters in the Jets lineup, Jena Garceau & Maddie Hablewitz, went a combined 8-for-10 with 6-runs scored and 2-RBI’s. Mackenzie Staudinger added 2-hits and 4-runs batted in.
Garceau earned the win while Madalyn Lambert took the loss. Carissa & Taylor Hammel each rapped out 4-hits in a losing effort for the Vikings.
Then, later in the afternoon, Chilton defeated Valders 5-3.
Taylor Hammel started and took the mound loss. Leadoff batter Holly Wendling was 3-for-4, including 2-doubles and a run scored.
