Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay is preparing to open on Saturday (May 1st) but it appears that it will not be a full re-open.
It is being reported that the Green Bay Parks Department is having trouble finding employees, which includes ride operators at the popular regional destination.
In total, 28 ride operator positions are currently listed, with pay rates between $11.39 and $12.60 an hour. If these positions are not filled by the time the park opens, it is likely that some of the rides will remain closed.
The rides affected will be on a bit of a rotational basis according to city officials however the Zippin Pippin, one of the most popular attractions at the park, will not be shut down.
