In recognition of International Compost Awareness Week, the Manitowoc County Recycling Center is offering 50% off screened compost purchases from May 3rd to the 8th.
The discounted price is $7.50 per cubic yard and they are able to load material in open trucks and trailers Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 3:30 PM.
The offer does not apply to wood mulch or delivered material and is good while supplies last.
The International Compost Awareness Week started in Canada in 1995 to help raise public awareness of the benefits of composting and using compost.
