There is a multitude of local and area sports teams in action today.
It’s opening day for a number of local and area high school boys baseball teams, including Manitowoc Lutheran is on the road for St. Mary Catholic, Roncalli is host to Chilton, New Holstein faces Two Rivers at Walsh Field, and Brillion is at Valders.
Meanwhile, Kohler/Sheboygan Christian visits Reedsville, Mishicot is at Sheboygan Lutheran, Kiel goes to Sheboygan Falls, Howards Grove takes to the road for a matchup with Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Denmark plays the Truckers at Clintonville, and Sheboygan North travels to Cedarburg.
Manitowoc Lincoln starts its’ schedule on Thursday against Kewaunee at Municipal Field.
Girls Softball openers this afternoon include Lincoln at Oshkosh North, Chilton invading Roncalli, and New Holstein at Two Rivers.
Also, Brillion goes to Valders, Mishicot is on the road to meet Sheboygan Lutheran, Kiel will play host to Sheboygan Falls/Kohler, Denmark is at Freedom, and Howards Grove is at Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah.
In Boys Soccer, De Pere battles Manitowoc Lincoln under the lights at Rubick Field in the home finale for the Ships, and, in a crosstown match, Sheboygan North is at Sheboygan South.
