Two men are facing a litany of charges after they were caught stealing from the Fleet Farm store in Manitowoc.
Officers were dispatched to the store on County Road R just after 8:30 PM on Saturday (April 24th), and found the two suspects in a vehicle parked in the parking lot.
Both the 19-year-old man in the driver’s seat and the 37-year-old passenger were asked to get out of the vehicle after a weapon was seen in the vehicle. Officer reports indicate that the men were not cooperating, and were detained while a search of the vehicle was conducted.
Several different drugs were located along with some items of drug paraphernalia.
Both men have been charged as a repeater with Possession of a Schedule 2 Narcotic, a Schedule 4 Drug, Drug Paraphernalia, and Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver and were placed on a probation hold.
The 37-year-old was also charged with Retail Theft and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping, while the 19-year-old was charged with Obstructing an Officer.
