BayCare Clinic has announced they are the presenting sponsor for the 2021 Manitowoc Farmers Market.
Mike Schmidt, a member of BayCare’s Executive Leadership Team, says in addition to supporting local run/walks-bicycle safety initiatives and providing free community outreach classes to help educate the public-they are proud to be affiliated with the Manitowoc Farmers Market, where the focus is on healthful nutrition.
Mayor Justin Nickels adds “The city is thrilled to be able to continue working with community partners like BayCare Clinic along with all supporters to a vibrant community resource that provides access to locally sourced produce and processed foods, homemade goods, crafts and services.”
The Farmers Market-located in the Quay Street parking lot across from the Library opens May first and runs thru the end of October.
Due to the construction taking place in that portion of Quay Street, the first week of the Farmers Market will take place in the parking lot of Manitowoc’s City Hall, located in the 900 block of Quay Street.
