The Manitowoc Lincoln tennis doubles team will play for 5th place today at the WIAA State Girls Tennis Tournament.
This morning at Lake Geneva, seniors Elsie Steimle & Kendra Peterson defeated the Green Bay Southwest duo of Tackmeier and Roever in a 3rd set tiebreaker. Elsie and Kendra will meet the top-seeded team going into the tourney, Wellhouse and Madjun of Appleton North late this morning.
As for the division-1 singles bracket, Ships freshman Olivia Minikel, is competing at this hour in the state semifinals against Madison Memorial’s Lily Olson.
