Bail is set $50 cash for a 43-year-old Two Rivers man after allegedly stealing food from the Manitowoc Walmart.
Henry Emery Laws is charged with Retail Theft and Felony Jumping. Police were dispatched to the store early Wednesday afternoon where Laws told them that he had been out of work since the pandemic and admitted he took the food yelling that he was hungry.
It was learned that he has a history of Retail Theft and was taken into custody. The lone condition of bail is that Laws have “no contact” with Walmart. He remains in the County Jail and an initial appearance is scheduled for May 3rd at 1:30.
