Timothy Hauschultz, one of three defendants charged in the April 2018 death of Ethan Hauschultz, will head to trial in December.
The 50-year-old Manitowoc man has eight charges pending including felony murder in Ethan’s death that occurred at his family’s home.
Court records indicate that he ordered Damian Hauschultz to supervise the boy’s punishment which included beating him, forcing him to carry a 45-pound log, and burying him in the snow.
He’s been charged as an adult with reckless homicide and has a settlement conference with the District Attorney’s Office pending while Tina McKeever-Hauschultz was recently sentenced to five years in prison for her role in Ethan’s death.
