A Two Rivers man has been taken into custody in Sheboygan after he allegedly fired a weapon in the air.
According to Police reports, officers were sent to the area of Indiana Avenue and South 9th Street at around 2:20 AM on Sunday (April 18th) on a report of gunshots.
The responding officers witnessed a vehicle traveling away from the scene and conducted a traffic stop.
A handgun was located in the vehicle, and the 22-year-old occupant from Two Rivers told officers he had fired it into the air to break up a fight.
No injuries were reported, and the man has been charged with Endangering Safety by Dangerous Use of a Weapon.
