A new garden greenhouse in the city of Manitowoc will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 22nd at 9:00 AM.
The garden greenhouse is located at 2344 South 14th Street and is a project of Grow It Forward.
The purpose is to increase local food production and provide year-round garden programming for the community.
Grow it Forward and the City of Manitowoc paid for it with the help of a grant from the West Foundation.
A short tour will follow the ribbon-cutting ceremonies, and there will be garden resources, free seeds, and information on summer programming.
