The WIAA in cooperation with Rural Mutual Insurance Company has selected the Team Sportsmanship Award-winners for the 2021 Winter State Tournaments.
The two award winners in Girls Basketball are Hudson & Fall Creek. The Raiders were judged the winners for the State Tourney games held at Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh. The Crickets are recipients of the Sportsmanship Award for Tournament games involving division’s 2 and 4 at the La Crosse Center.
Eventual state champion Mishicot defeated Fall Creek in the D-4 semifinals. Schools chosen Sportsmanship winners in the 3 divisions of State Team Wrestling are Holmen, Winneconne and Coleman.
The 2 recipients in Boys Basketball are Kimberly & Lake Mills. (Hartland) Arrowhead is Division-1 Sportsmanship winner in Gymnastics at Wisconsin Rapids.
River Falls was the Gymnastics recipient for the D-2 championships held in Onalaska. And, the Somerset/St. Croix Falls/Osceola Valley Christian co-op was the one program awarded for Team Sportsmanship in Boys Hockey.
Eau Claire North co-op was the selection in Girls Hockey.
