
Manitowoc Lincoln will play for the Division-1 State Girls Volleyball championship Saturday night.
The Ships were able to sweep Sun Prairie last night 25-17, 25-22, 25-23 in the state semifinals played at Kettle Moraine High School.
Lincoln (now 16-1) received 22-kills and 14-digs from Mary Satori while teammate Lauren Delmore contributed 43-assists.
Appleton North won the other semifinal match in 3-sets over McFarland: 25-19, 25-15, and 25-19.
So, the Ships will battle the (14-0) Lightning tomorrow night at 7:00 in Kaukauna for the gold ball.
The Division-2 state championship, also at Kaukauna tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 PM, pits undefeated Washburn against Brodhead after the Castle Guards needed five sets to survive St. Mary’s Springs of Fond du Lac while the Cardinals outlasted Royal in four sets.
