
Manitowoc County surpassed a pair of COVID-19 vaccination milestones yesterday (April 15th).
Thanks to another relatively strong day of vaccinations, where 849 total shots were administered, over 50,000 shots have been given out.
.Also, since 161 of those shots administered yesterday went into the arms of first-time patients, over 30,000 people have gotten at least one dose of the vaccines.
Over 10,000 shots have been administered since the start of April.
Also reported by the Manitowoc County Health Department, seven new cases were reported, leaving the pandemic total at 7,415.
Both the number of people hospitalized, and the number of deaths remained unchanged, with 32 people occupying area hospital beds, and the death toll remaining at 69.
Meanwhile, in Sheboygan County, the Division of Public Health reported 23 new cases of the virus, while 18 people recovered. This leaves their pandemic totals at 13,503 confirmed cases, 13,187 recoveries, and leaves 182 active cases.
Their death toll also remained unchanged at 134.
