The 37th Annual Pierside Auction at Roncalli High School is fast approaching, with bidding opening up on Monday (April 19th).
Candice Giesen, the Director of Development at Roncalli Catholic Schools, is the coordinator for the event, which helps support the schools.
She told Seehafer News that they have “seven or eight specific areas, and then we have the Premium items.” Those items include things like signed sports posters and jerseys, signed music memorabilia, and destination trips.
“We have found out that more people are starting to take trips in Wisconsin,” Giesen explained. “We have a Door County package, a Sturgeon Bay package, we have some packages for Kohler, and we have one for SheBiking.” That is for a company out of Sheboygan that gives a group of people a tandem bike, which you can pedal around a predetermined route.
You can register right now at RoncalliAuction.GiveSmart.com for the online auction, however, you will not be able to view the full list of available items until Monday when the bidding opens up. The premium items will not be available until next Wednesday.
Amy Hanson, Roncalli’s Marketing Coordinator, said that the site is “really user friendly. All the items are broken down by category, so you can view them all at once, or if you are looking for something specific under one of the categories it will bring up those items.”
The virtual auction show will air on the Roncalli Catholic Schools Facebook and YouTube pages on Saturday at 8:30 PM, with raffle prizes being drawn just before the show ends at 10:00 PM.
If none of the roughly 500 items interest you but you still want to donate, there are Donate Now buttons on the webpage.
