A teacher at the Baird Elementary School in Green Bay has been arrested on child sex charges involving his students.
46-year-old David Villareal has not had any charges officially filed against him at this time, but charges of Sexual Assault of a Student by School Staff, Sexual Contact/Intercourse with a Child Under 13 Causing Great Bodily Harm, Causing Mental Harm to a Child, Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child and Child Enticement have been recommended.
Details of the case have not yet been released, but the School District sent a letter to families.
It read in part, “As this is an ongoing investigation, the District is unable to provide any additional information. We respectfully request that anyone who has information contact the Green Bay Police Department.”
