The Brewers hit three homers in Sunday’s 9-3 win at St. Louis, winning the series two games to one.
Avisail Garcia homered for the second game in a row and Travis Shaw hit the ball out with two on in the second inning to give starter Brett Anderson a 7-0 lead to work with. Manny Pina hit the third home run.
The victory was the fourth in five games for the Brewers against two of their main competitors in the National League Central Division.
Christian Yelich and Shaw left the game with minor injuries and are considered to be day-to-day.
Kolten Wong was placed on the 10-day injured list before Saturday’s 9-5 win.
The Cubs visit American Family Field tonight (April 12th) at 6:40 p-m. Freddy Peralta will start the game for Milwaukee.
