Transfer goaltender Jared Moe expects to hear from the folks back home when he plays for the University of Wisconsin men’s hockey team next season.
Moe comes to Madison from the arch-rival Minnesota Golden Gophers.
He decided to leave Minnesota when starting goalie Jack LaFontaine announced he would return for another season. LaFontaine is one of the best at the position, nationally.
Moe has three years of eligibility remaining.
The Badgers are also getting help from the transfer portal with the arrival of center Max Johnson of Bowling Green.
Johnson’s father and uncle both played football for the Badgers.
