Healthy Sheboygan County, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is preparing to host a drug takeback day later this month.
The three entities will be accepting prescription drugs at three locations throughout the County on April 24th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Those looking to safely dispose of their unused prescription drugs will be able to drop them off at Generations, located at 1500 Douglas Drive in Plymouth, the Random Lake Fire Department, located at 718 Spring Street, and at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, located at 3100 Superior Avenue.
Liquids and creams should stay in their original package, and illegal drugs, needles, acids, aerosol cans, and bio-hazardous material will not be accepted.
