There is a new man at the helm in the City of Sheboygan.
The current Common Council President, Ryan Sorenson toppled two-time winner Mike Vanderteeen and will be the second-youngest mayor in the history of Sheboygan.
The 26-year-old politician won in decisive fashion, on a vote of 4,417 to 3,113.
Sorenson said he is looking forward to working with the residents of the City to make the community even better, where everyone can thrive.
