A 27-year-old father was apparently trying to impress his daughter Wednesday afternoon when he got too close to the elephant exhibit at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
He was cited for trespassing.
The man’s name hasn’t been released and no injuries were reported.
The zoo says one of its visitors climbed over a fenced area of the outdoor exhibit. He tried to climb over a secondary fence but didn’t make it, sitting there, dangling his legs into the exhibit.
Zoo officials held him until deputies with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office could get there.
