Alliance Laundry Systems has announced that they are acquiring the distribution assets of D&M Equipment Company.
The Chicago-based company is one of the top distributors of laundromat equipment in the Midwest.
This is Alliance’s third acquisition of 2021 and their second such announcement in as many weeks after acquiring Washburn Machinery Inc, also based out of Chicago.
President and Chief Commercial Officer Rick Pyle says D&M is their first acquisition of a distributor of multiple manufacturers’ products that has distinguished itself with expert in-house installers and a well-stocked Parts Department that illustrates their commitment to expanding service and distribution offerings to customers in the greater Chicago area.
President of D&M Equipment Joe Frankian says “This is an exciting new chapter in our company’s history. With the power of a global leader behind us, I’m confident customers will see next-level service.”
Pyle added, “For decades D&M has shown market leadership and we are excited to welcome them to Alliance.”
Frankian and his son Connor will join Alliance as part of this deal which is expected to close later this month.
