Coors Field in Denver is going to host the 2021 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
Mayor Tom Barrett had told Baseball Commission Rob Manfred Milwaukee should host the event because a tribute will be paid to slugger Hank Aaron that weekend.
Aaron spent a significant portion of his career in Milwaukee.
Manfred decided to pull the game from Atlanta late last week after Georgia Republicans approved a voting registration bill condemned by Democrats and voting rights advocates requiring a photo I-D.
Cobb County, Georgia tourism officials say they estimate the Atlanta region will lose more than $100-million due to the decision to move the game.
