Charges have officially been filed against a 43-year-old Green Bay man accused of stabbing another man to death in a road rage incident over the weekend.
Joseph Olvera is now facing charges of First Degree Intentional Homicide, Felony Bail Jumping, and two counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Olvera was reportedly fueling up his car with his wife and four children in the car on Sunday (April 4th), and when he left the Marathon gas station in the 600 block of Walnut Street, a car cut him off.
Olvera then reportedly became irate and chased down a car he thought was responsible, which turned out to be the wrong car, and got into a verbal altercation with the 25-year-old male driver.
Olvera then reportedly stabbed the man, who died at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay at around 3:30 Monday morning.
Olvera is being held in the Brown County Jail on a $750,000 cash bond.
