Manitowoc County Clerk Jessica Backus said late last night that the overall countywide voter turnout fell within the range of the typical Spring election.
24-percent of the county’s eligible voters cast their ballots in the various races, compared to 20-to-25% turnout in past elections.
Backus explains the County Board of Canvass will meet Friday to certify county results for the State Superintendent and Court of Appeals contests.
Municipal and School District results will be certified after their respective Board of Canvassers meet at their scheduled times.
