A 51-year old Waushara County man was arrested Saturday morning by the State Patrol, Fond du lac post for 5th offense of operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
The driver who was identified as Timothy Williams of Redgranite was stopped for speeding on I-41 southbound near Fond du lac around 10:30 AM. Williams showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody after Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted by a patrolman.
Charges include 5th offense OWI, open intoxicants, and speeding. Charges of possession of paraphernalia and schedule IV (4) narcotics are being referred to the district attorney’s office.
